We loved Portugal! Can understand why so many want to move there. The country, food, people, valleys, rivers, oceans, cliffs..just gorgeous. The Yeatman was lovely, room, common areas, all with river views, stunning. Mentioned as the nicest hotel in Porto.
Hotel Valvedere was fine, room was a bit like a ship, some areas with 2 ft ceilings. The pool and restaurant were very nice.
Bella Vista was amazing. We loved our suite, the service, the food, weather was ideal and the staff so accommodating.
Didn’t want to leave. Both day trips (Sintra and Douro Valley) were fun and guides terrific.
Luckily we found the direct flight to Porto as arriving in Lisbon, waiting and hopping another plane would be far from ideal.
