Day 3: Limoux, Carcassonne & the Canal du Midi
This morning, your journey through Southwest France continues into the viticultural region of Limoux, famous for its sparkling wines. Long before Champagne became world renowned, Limoux was producing sparkling wine using the traditional method. Enjoy a wine tasting experience and discover the region’s celebrated bubbles.
After your tasting, continue to the medieval fortress city of Carcassonne, one of the most impressive historic sites in Southern France. With its dramatic walls, towers, and preserved medieval atmosphere, Carcassonne offers far more than a beautiful backdrop.
