Montenegro Experience
A day dedicated to Budva and Sveti Stefan…
Your guide greets and welcomes you to Montenegro at Kotor Port or at hotel and accompany you to the old town.
Our tour includes a visit to the town of Kotor, an impressive walled city in a well preserved condition. Kotor proudly finds a place in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List and enjoys Venetian architectural style. First and Illirian settlement, it became a Roman city before it was ruled by the Byzantines and Serbians during the medieval times before it fell into the hands of the Venetian Republic and Austrians.
Among the places we see in Kotor are 12th Century St. Tryphon Cathedral, strong fortification walls that protected the city, Maritime Museum, Piazza of the Arms, Clock Tower, Church of St. Luca, Church of St Clare. There is a climb of 1500 steps to discover the Byzantine-Venetian fortifications. The reward is a magnificent view of the old town and the bay.
We provide transportation to man Sveti Sveti Stefan Resort for lunch. Once a fishing village, this tiny island today houses a luxurious resort hotel that consists of the houses of the old village.
We have our lunch at one of the two restaurants of the island: Piazza or Aman Signature…
Piazza is situated in the middle of the island surrounded with pine trees. Here light organic food as fish, lamb, salads, anti-pastas, pastas and pizzas I offer. It is the place to be, to explore the atmosphere of the old fishermen’s village.
Aman Signature is a fine dining restaurant situated on the right side of the island with view over the bay of Budva. It offers a wide selection of different cuts of locally sourced pasture fed meats, salads, starters and Signature dishes to share.
Following lunch, we drive to Budva Old Town to discover this charming old town which is surrounded by 15th Century fortification walls. |
