A DAY IN EN PROVENCE “THE WINE ROAD”: Enjoy the gentle way of life in this village, a registered historic site considered one of the loveliest villages of France. It overlooks a vast area of Provence, from frejus and the Mediterraneen in the east, to the Saint Victoire mountaine in the west.

Le Château de Berne: The wine grower’s spirit has reigned since 1750 on the 550 hectares of this domain, which produce 65 hectares of the traditional Provence grape varieries. Le Château Saint-Martin: A 100 hectare wine domain, where the Romain did grow the vines and start the story of Saint-Martin. Wine tasting in the underground cave .In a XV century cave we will see a light show, a play and cultural approach of the wine of Provence through the story of a wine domain through the centuries. Classified vintage.

AIX EN PROVENCE TOUR: Aix is the historical capital of Provence. A rich heritage, cutural diversity, beautiful fountains, a lovely center with the Cours Mirabeau and a lot of incomparable places of interest ; in short, a city of tradition. Antique shops , art galleries, Cezanne Workshop (entrance fee included), thermal baths, the “Santon of provence“ , etc.

Stroll in the pedestrian roads of Aix en follow the itinerary “on the footsteps of Cezanne“. Our tour will showcase the amazing beauty of the Aix-en-Provence countryside. We will drive along the famous “St Victoire Mountain“ that Cezanne used often as a theme for his paintings.

THE VERDON CANYON: The Grand Canyon du Verdon is a deep wild and spectacular canyon. Stop at the most beautiful point of view and be amazed by the unbelievable panorama. JEWISH HERITAGE TOURS: Celebrated Jews on the French Riviera. In Nice, we will take you to the wonderful Chagall Museum, known for its stunning mosaics, stained glass windows and series of paintings illustrating Old Testament subjects, including the Song of Songs. Also on the tour is the Museum of Contemporary Art, where you’ll discover such famous contemporary Jewish artists as Robert Rauschenberg, Yves Klein, Arman and Ben, to name a few.

If you want to discover the life of the Jewish “jet-set” before their were jets, then head with European Jewish Tours to the exquisite Cap Ferrat, where you’ll discover two of the most breathtaking mansions on the Riviera: the Villa Kerylos, a striking reproduction of a 5th century B.C. Athenian villa built in 1908 by the noted Jewish Hellenist Theodore Reinach, and the pink Villa Ephrussi Rothschild, built by the flamboyant Beatrice Rothschild, who never went anywhere without her trunk of 50 wigs, and who greeted guests at parties dressed as Marie-Antoinette.

Jewish Provence: In the 14th century, the countryside of Provence became the home of many Jews after they were exiled from the Kingdom of France by Philip the Fair and Charles VI. When Provence became part of France in 1481, the Jews found refuge in the enclave formed by Papal possessions in Provence in both Avignon and the Comtat Venaissin.

With European Jewish tours, discover the old Jewish quarter in Avignon along with Palace of the Popes and the vineyards of nearby Chateauneuf-du-Pape, which produces kosher, as well as non-kosher vintages.

Then visit Carpentras, site of the oldest Jewish synagogue in France (1741-1743), and Cavaillon, whose 18th-century synagogue is a splendid example of the Rocaille style, and its former Jewish bakery, now a fascinating Judeo-Comtadin museum.

In Aix-en-Provence, our walking tour will take you to the Medieval Jewish dwellings in Rue Verrerie and the Lapidary Museum, with its fine collection of Judaica.

Marseille, where the Jewish communities are very active. You will be introduced to these different Jewish communities, which originated in North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria) with their ancient rites (Sephardic), sacred traditions and culture.
